Dinorah Escala, MS, LMHC

Dinorah Escala is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She earned her Master in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and is certified in clinical Anxiety treatment. Dinorah is fully bilingual (English and Spanish) and also holds a Master in Business Administration.
 
Her professional career has been diverse and exciting, with experiences in the government and private sectors prior to focusing on her true passion, the study of behavioral health and psychopathology. Dinorah has worked with populations from diverse social and cultural backgrounds and is trained in a variety of modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered and Existential Therapy.

Maria “Nelly” Carusillo, MS, LMHC

Maria “Nelly” Carusillo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from University of South Florida and her Master in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Nelly is fully bilingual (English and Spanish) and is also certified as a Clinical Anxiety and Trauma Treatment Professional.

Nelly, as a co-founder of EG-Behavioral Consultants, plays a key role in overseeing operations while supporting immigration attorneys and their clients in advancing their cases. Nelly has prepared thorough mental health assessments for over 60 visa petitioners. Being a second-generation immigrant herself, Nelly empathizes with the struggles of undocumented clients and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, professional, and prompt services.

Sheli Garcia Aguirre, MS, LMHC

Sheli Garcia Aguirre is a licensed marriage and family therapist, practicing in the states of Florida, New York, and Washington, with 19 years of experience in social services. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Carlos Albizu University. Proficient in both English and Spanish, Sheli recently co-authored a book titled “Libertad with Forward-Facing,” expounding on the causes and effects of traumatic stress within the Latino and immigrant population in the U.S.

In her private practice, Sheli specializes in assisting professionals of color in overcoming stress, anxiety, trauma and burnout. Over the past three years, she has also been actively involved with the non-profit organization Redefining Refuge, where she conducts mental health assessments for sexually exploited and trafficked youth. Sheli’s dedication to social justice, addressing human trafficking issues, and promoting mental well-being is seamlessly integrate into her work, particularly in serving immigration attorneys and their clients.
